Read 1 Peter 1:3-9 "3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,4 to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you,5 who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.6 In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials,7 so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.8 Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory,9 obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls."
You can face any CRISIS when you know who CHRIST IS!
There is no promise of life without troubles or hardship. Life is not always fair and tidy, able to be fit in a nice little box. Life happens. Death happens. Oftentimes, we are faced with something we were not expecting. We are surprised by a setback. We are overwhelmed by an enemy. We are confronted with a wall that seems unscalable. If we depend on a life without trouble before we can have peace and walk in joy, we will be terribly disappointed. But as a believer, we know something that others don't. Jesus said, "in this world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." (John 16:3) Because of Jesus, you will be ok.
You can face any crisis when you know who Christ is.
When there is no certainty, Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)
When there is chaos, Christ is the prince of peace. (Isaiah 9:6)
When you feel like you are losing it, Christ is the author and finisher of your faith - and faith is your victory. (Hebrews 12:2 / I John 5:4)
When you are overwhelmed by fear, Christ is love and love casts out all fear. (1 John 4:18)
When you are sick, Christ is your healer. (1 Peter 2:24)
When you don't have enough, Christ is your provider. (Philippians 4:19)
When you don't know the way, Christ is the way. (John 14:6)
Be encouraged today. There is good news! You can face any crisis when you know who CHRIST IS!
