“At the age of 18, I made up my mind to never have another bad day in my life. I dove into a endless sea of gratitude from which I've never emerged.” - Patch Adams
Today, you have a choice. I am inviting you to join me on a 21 Day Challenge - 21 Days of Gratitude. The goal is to reprogram your mind to focus on good things no matter what.
Before you make any excuses, say this with me, “I have a choice.” Period.
The enemy will try to convince you otherwise. Your mind will try to talk you out of it. And likely there will be people or circumstances that will give you a (good) reason to have a bad day.
So, are you in for the challenge?
Ok, before I get ahead of myself let me go over what I am expecting from you.
Read the devotions every day for the next 21 days.
Do the challenges when they come.
Don’t complain - no matter what, focus on good.
That’s it.
Ready to get started? Here’s the first devotion and challenge:
#21G Verse: “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24 ESV.
Every day is the day God has made. And if you are alive, God made the day for you. He didn’t make you and me for the day, He made the day for us. Each day is a gift made up of time, opportunity, and an assignment.
This is the day the Lord has made - for you to live life to the full.
This is the day the Lord has made - with new mercies and grace.
This is the day the Lord has made - with the opportunity for us to fulfill our God-given purpose.
This is the day the Lord has made - for you to grow from one degree of glory to another.
This the day the Lord has made - rejoice and be glad in it!
