Read Colossians 2:6-15 Have you been shot by an empty gun? How bad were you hurt? As we have been discussing the strategy of the enemy it is important to understand this face. He has already been disarmed. Verse 15 says, "He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him." Also, in another book called Hebrews, we see this truth as well.
Hebrews 2: 14 Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil,15 and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery.
The way you do life will change greatly when you understand that Jesus has already defeated our enemy. Any advantage that he gets in our life is what we give to him. He has no right to steal, kill, and destroy from you. You are more than a conqueror through Christ.
