Read 2 Corinthians 2:14-16. Have you walked into a room and thought what's that smell? Sometimes it is a bad smell that can turn your stomach. Other times, it is a delicious aroma like a cake in the oven. There are some smells that are attractive to some and repulsive to others.
For example, I love the smell of coffee. When I walk by a coffee shop and smell coffee brewing you will probably see me in line to purchase a drink of my choice not long after. My wife, however, she can't stand coffee or the smell of it. Isn't it amazing that the same smell can create two different responses.
The Apostle Paul talks about this as it relates to our lives as believers. Some will respond to our actions and statements of faith with celebration. Others will respond with hate-filled words and declarations that Christians are intolerant. In the same way that Christ was loved by some and hated by others, we can expect the same reality.
But here's the positive thing. No matter how people respond, God ALWAYS leads us into victory. As we show up reflecting His image in the earth, we spread fragrance of God wherever we go.
Today, put on your 'God-fragrance' and walk in victory!
